50% OF YOUR TOTAL COST IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID AS A DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. YOU ARE NOT BOOKED AND YOUR DATE IS NOT HELD UNTIL DEPOSIT IS PAID. REMAINING 50% IS DUE ONE WEEK PRIOR TO PICKUP OR DELIVERY DATE. IF FINAL PAYMENT IS 48+ HOURS LATE; A 10% LATE FEE WILL BE ADDED TO THE FINAL BALANCE. 72+ HOURS LATE WILL RESULT IN ORDER CANCELLATION. DEPOSITS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

ALL ITEMS ARE BAKED IN AN ALLERGEN CONTAINING KITCHEN. VIOLET FLOUR BAKES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN TO ANY ITEM ONCE IT IS IN THE CLIENT’S POSSESSION. CAKES MELT AT THE SPEED OF A STICK OF BUTTER AND MUST BE REFRIGERATED UNTIL 2 HOURS (LESS IF OUTSIDE) PRIOR TO SERVING. THEY MUST ALSO BE SAFELY TRANSPORTED. VIOLET FLOUR BAKES IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES CAUSED DUE TO IMPROPER STORAGE OR TRANSPORTATION/HANDLING.

CAKES ARE PERISHABLE AND CAN MELT QUICKLY IN WARM CONDITIONS OR DIRECT SUN. CAKES MUST BE REFRIGERATED UNTIL 2 HOURS PRIOR TO SERVING. IF CAKES ARE BEING DISPLAYED OUTSIDE IN HOT WEATHER IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE THEM OUT FOR LESS THAN AN HOUR IF POSSIBLE.
CAKES ARE BEST SERVED AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, SO PLEASE LET YOUR CAKE SIT OUT FOR A BIT BEFORE SERVING!
CAKES NEED TO BE TRANSPORTED ON A FLAT SURFACE. THE CANNOT BE TRANSPORTED ON CAR SEATS AS THEY ARE SLANTED. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO PLACE YOUR CAKE IN A FLAT TRUNK, ON THE FLOOR IN THE PASSENGER SIDE, OR HAVE SOMEONE HOLD IT.
LEFTOVERS NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED (IF YOU ARE LUCKY TO HAVE ANY LEFT!)
CAKE FREEZES BEAUTIFULLY! THE BEST WAY TO FREEZE CAKE IS TO CUT THE LEFTOVERS INTO SLICES WHILE COLD AND INDIVIUDUALLY PLASTIC WRAP THEM. PUT THE SLICES INTO A FREEZER SAFE BAG OR CONTAINER AND PULL OUT ONE AT A TIME TO THAW AS YOU DESIRE!

STORE CUSTOM SUGAR COOKIES ON THE COUNTER (DO NOT REFRIGERATE!) IN THEIR ORIGINAL BAGS FOR UP TO 2 WEEKS.
COOKIES FREEZE BEAUTIFULLY! LEAVE COOKIES IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL BAGS AND PUT THEM INTO AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER. PULL OUT THE ENTIRE CONTAINER AND LET IT THAW FULLY BEFORE OPENING TO REDUCE CONDENSATION ALTERING THE DESIGN.
TO THAW ONE AT A TIME TO EAT- PULL ONE OUT AND POP IT IN THE MICROWAVE FOR 30 SECONDS!

• I prefer a 2+ week notice when possible, but availability varies.
• Wedding season books FAST. I only take one big wedding delivery per day. I recommend booking weddings about a year in advance to guarantee securing your date.
• I offer cake tastings in January-March of each year only on designated tasting dates.
• Pickup address is listed on your invoice!
